Cover art and lyric video for Swiss industrial metal band, Obsydians. This image was created for their third single, Ascension, which features Steve Fari (This Misery Garden). The first time I heard the instrumental demo for this song I knew that the tribal aspect of the Obsydians had to be the primary focus of my visual concept. Drawing further inspiration from Steve’s lyrics, I decided to showcase a soul arrow as it tears through the fabric of reality into the mysterious spaces of a shamanic trip.
